Why should I submit my blog?
For the same reason you started blogging in the first case: fame and glory!
We kid. We want to connect free-from bloggers with readers.
You also get some pretty cool stuff like a free-from blogger badge for your site, promotion on facebook and twitter, and a link to your site (to get that Alexa rank up!). We’ll also be rolling out some cool stuff once we get everything up and running (FreeFrom Blogger of the Year, anyone?).
What if my blog fits into more than one category?
Good question. We do ask that you pick a primary category. For instance, if you’re a coeliac (like me!) then gluten-free is probably your main schtick. If you’re a coeliac that also avoids eggs then let us know and we’ll make a note of it next to your link.
Now, if you happen to be a vegan that also avoids gluten, soya, nuts, and wheat then you get the special privilege of being in the Vegan+ category. *high five* You’re pretty much bound to be awesome by definition.
I’ve seen photos around the site. Do you take photo contributions?
Yep, we’ve set up a flickr group to which you can contribute. If we like one of your photos and decide to use it we will contact you to discuss details before posting. Please read our photo contributor policy.
Are you making money off of this?
We just launched and have like zero traffic (just kidding), so that would be a no. If at any time we do decide to consider accepting ads we will of course consult you, the bloggers and users. This is a free-from democracy after all!
